So yeah I appreciate a compliment as much as the next guy but after ten or twenty times "your tits are so great" gets a bit boring. Or actually annoying.
But apart from that sunday night was great. Me and Ida went for a beer before we went to the movies but we never made it to the movies. Sunday day was equally good with Heroes and knitting all day.
Saturday was gingerbread mayhem! All day! And now Maria is gone and I miss her but I started my training today and it's interesting to sit over there, several metres away, and listen to Hannah's calls.
Also; if you live in Cork, or visit Cork, ever - go to The Berries and have their Hotpot. Best chilli ever. Really.

beer and coffee
Well yeah, the bridge. The bridge is where we went after putting the million billion beers in the cabin. It was awesome!
Then we ate lot's of meat. Again. Meat party. Then we went to the cabin where we fell asleep.
We woke up after a while, had coffee, and dragged our million billion beers to the car deck, where we where eventually picked up by a bus, and then we loaded the beers into a car, and then we took it to the office, by carriyng it up the stairs.
We where very good.
Tonight I slept like a bear in hibernation.
Today I went into town and bought coffee at a café where I used to be a regular and I got it for free even though I hav'nt been there for a year... So nice!
And since then I've been sitting in the office. Feels like home, which is a bit bad I guess, but I like it anyways.

Home from a pretty non-eventful trip to Germany. Very tired. Long day. Up at five, walked to the station at about five forty, took a train at six, arrived in Trelleborg at seven forty or something, walked to the boat, took the boat... Uhm... Yeah that's pretty much it I guess. We ate a huge meaty breakfast and played cards (I won in poker big time) and after many hours we arrived in Germany where we bought a million billion beers. And wine and vodka and lot's of stuff. Then we walked back to the boat and loaded all the stuff into the cabin that we had for the ride home, and then we went up to the part of the ship where the captain drives. Ehm. I bet it's not called drives but I'm really a bit to tired to write. I don't even know why I'm doing this right now.
Well, going to bed. Maybe a better story tomorrow.

be exelent to each other
Just saw Bill and Ted's Exelent Adventure with Maia (and Dulce de Leche, best ice cream ever, well worth fifty crowns...) and it was great, of course. Going to watch Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey at some point as well. But not tonight, because tomorrow I'm going to Germany with Lars, Emmy and Lars' friend to buy lots of beer and alcohol for FFF.
Today was pretty calm. Chilled out. Had vacation. Then I went to town, had coffee with Hannah and Maia and went up to the FFF-office where I did some minor administrative stuff.
A pic from friday, when I was shopping with Kalle. Maia joined us for a beer later. Than me and Maia went out for dinner. Now her bangs are shorter because I cut them before the movie.
Goodnight!

some crappy title
My neck hurts. Probably from the AC at work. Starting to have problems moving my neck. Lucky for me they just adjusted it.
I'm a bit tired. We went out for a beer after work, me, Johan and Maia, and kinda continued at Viola and Björn's place, watching Ronja Rövardotter and eating Zam Zam-food. A really nice night! I'm not hungover at all, just a bit tired. And hungry. Feel like a sub today. For the first time in months.
Having Maia here is awesome. We're having loads of fun.
We saw Dark Knight again on sunday. It was still really cool. Ledger was still really good as the Joker. Really.
All in all I feel kinda depressed. It's amazing how feelings can be so intense, it sometimes feels like the world around me fades and my memories are bigger, more real, more present. I want to live in my life. I do. Right here and now. It's just that something is missing. Like... there's a hole in my life. Like a wound. I try to move around it carefully, try to make it not hurt so much, but I can't get rid of the feeling of emptyness. Life goes on. Only... wrong.
It' strange because there's so much good stuff going on. There's more than one thing to bring me down, of course, but I want to be happy. Life is good. I want to enjoy it.
Sara got in to medschool in Gothenburg so we're going out tonight to celebrate. Tomorrow I think me and Maia are leaving town for about 24 hours, just to see something else, some nature, some rain, some pub.

Broken
This weekend has been interesting and fun in many ways. On friday I hurt my eye and on saturday I hurt my toe and my neck is still hurting and yeah, other stuff hurt as well.
We had a great dinner yesterday, thaifood, and then we went to Fransiscan Wells where we had a great night, wich ended late, after an afterparty. The whole day was really good. And today, things are not so good. (Not only because Rebel Red is a really mean beer, tastes great but down three and your head is going to kill you the next day, there are other things too.)
Everyone dissapears. It's true. They dissapear like smoke, disintegrate, can't hold my attention. I have the attentionspan of a child. Everyone else. I did'nt plan this.
Whatever.
I discovered A3 today. And everyone is making fun of my bells. I really like them. I don't sound like a reindeer but above all I do not look like one! People are mean.
Also I can't remember when I felt so alone before. I'm sure I have, but not in a very long time. Not only alone, also lonely, and a bit forgotten.

nothing more than...
Feelings? Words? My head is spinning and I can't make it stop. I worry that I scared Joe LondonBartenderDude off with my latest email. Havn't heard from him in a few days.
The weekend has been a bit insane, insane partying, intense. Friday I was on a mission to become as drunk as humanly possible, and I succeeded! A winner is me. The feelings did'nt go away though.
Saturday I was very hungover, but I managed to make it to the bbq party after all. It was a really sweet party. Live music and wonderful people. Eventually we went out to the Crane Lane, and after that an afterparty at Björn's. With more beer that any human could ever drink. (That's what happens if you give a large amount of money to an insane norwegian guy telling him to get beer. He added some more money and got ten times more beer that anyone would ever want or need.)
I have to admit that I don't regret sharing my thoughts.

These old bones needs to rest now
Exhausting weekend! Starting out with the team dinner friday, best pork ribs ever, had a few pints and some red wine, went home quite early after doing two kinda funny things; I reached out a hand and it seemed to work, which makes me feel good, and also I insulted someone. Or, not insulted so much as spoke my mind. "How come everyone hates me?" "Well, because of your asshole attitude probably." This sounds mean but that guy really needed to hear it, I think he knows that his attitude is causing him problems but he still keeps it up. We had a discussion about it, quite calm, where he explained that he could'nt do anything about it and I said that he actually had a choise.
On saturday I slept untill late, which is lovely, I love sleeping. The greatest luxury. Then me and Maria and Amalie went out shopping and then we went home where the rest of the mafia had assembled in front of the computer to watch the Swedish "Melody festival". I ate some food quickly and left them (feeling very nervous) to go meet my date.
Apart from ranting about how upset I was that Nordman had actually been allowed to perform in the show at all with that load of bullshit song of his ("If you play with magic you will awaken the wrath of heaven"?!?!) the date was very good. The second date even. We went to see "The Sultans of Ping", a Cork band who have been playing for about 15 years. It was one of the strangest gigs I ever been on! The huge moshpit was mostly guys in their 30's, and the singer looked quite special in extremely tight pink leopardprint pants and a black tight latex shirt. The music is a Toydoll's kinda punk. Apart from "Where's me jumper" they had a lot of equally weird but quite good and even more funny songs. At one point the whole crowd dropped to the ground where they where lying on their backs waving arms and legs in the air to a song about whales I think. Later the singer climbed/crowdsurfed across the whole room untill he reached the mixtable, on which he stood with the mic inside his mouth, making moves that I wont discribe more at all.
A good night, all in all, we had a beer afterwards and then decided against kebab to the benefit of pasta with chicken at my place.
While we where sitting in the kitchen talking there was a nock on the window, and I had a nice little chat with the former tenants of this very house. At three in the morning. They saw someone was awake, and we have a "pace"-flag in the window. So they just had to say hi.
Today we had a mafiadate at "LeisurePlex" where we shot lasers at small children. Definitely an underrated pleasure. We also rode motorbikes. In front of screens. Oh how great it was! Completely insane but so good! The weekend was perfectly ended with some cake of doom, and now I am going to go to bed.
And I am in quite a good mood, I must say.

It's true
I am the proud owner of Transformers - the movie on dvd. The old one that is. ("The year is 2005...")
The weekend was mostly good. Friday was a bit boring, saturday was mostly fun. I bought eyeshadows for €32. I love them.
We had swedish dinner, meatballs, potatoes, brown sauce and cranberry sauce which is a bit like lingonsylt but not really.
Then we had an enourmous amount of wine, and then we went to the old oak and danced and drank beer. The next day everyone was extremely hung over. Most of the day was spent at Tribes, enjoying their massive amounts of food, coffee and hot chocolate.
I had a wierd dream. I dreamt I was kidnapped by a psyco killer. He poisoned his victims with halucinogenic drugs and killed them, and possibly also ate them. I managed to not eat the wierd drug filled cookies, and thereby realizing I was in danger before I was actually killed, contrary to the rest of his victims. I escaped. Then I met Joakim, and he was beaten up, his face was filled with bruises, and he was carrying a child.
Sunday evening I spent cleaning the house, and watching Monty Python and Buffy, and eating garlic bread. Amalie has been living in our house since saturday.
All is well.

At the dark end of the week
The weeks are bridges between weekends. The last weekend was crazy, but it is now far away. It is very soon weekend again. A lady in the scandinavian team quits today, and she's brought lots of candy and stuff, wich is nice. Tonight there will be some going away-beer at Shelbournes. (I think I mentioned it, but Shelbournes is the pub where Siemens staff gets a discount on fridays.) After that; kareoke.
And tomorrow! Everyone is talking about what to wear. "So what are you wearing tomorrow?" asks my friend. "A dress" says I. Her boyfriend comes along. "So what are you wearing tomorrow?" he asks. Please.
Well, the house. It's great, everything has worked out good, we're having fun. From my room I see the Murphy's and Heineken brewery, we have nice kiwi neighbours, the french like to cook... And clean. I'm liking it.
And the job is nice. Friendly atmosphere. I got my place today, my computer. Later this afternoon I will have IP telephone training.

Keepin' it surreal
(I will be blogging in english from now on since ä and the other swedish stuff is missing from the keyboard. If anyone wishes to give me a laptop, make sure it has ä and the others.)
Well, London was wonderful. I totally fell in love. What a city. I never expected it to be so... colorful, excentric, weird, beautiful... I arrived on thursday afternoon, went to Bethnal Green, took a shower and ate some food and fell asleep for four or five hours. Then I went out, on my own, explored a bit and went to keep Joakim company on Hi Sushi, where he works. Very nice place. Very very calm. I had a very big and tasty cocktail there.
On saturday we went to Tesco and bought lots of breakfast, wich we ate, than we went out. We started out with the British Museum, wich was huge, and amazing. One day there might be pics. We saw so much, it was so cool... After that we walked around for quite some time, looking at the beautiful city. We found a really cozy bar called Waxy's little sister where we had beer. Then we walked around for a while more, had Irish hamburgers and more beer, walked a lot more, looked at Tate and realized it was open! At half past nine! We saw the big crack in the floor. It was cool.
We where encouraged to look at the moon.
We saw the Globe, we walked, we saw Saint Paul's, we walked, we took the underground to Brick Lane, we had cocktails at a very nice bar, we walked back to Bethnal Green for some late night icecream and red wine.
On the way we encountered a small man who came towards us with the words "Excuse me, can I interest you in some cocaine?" We declined his offer. He called after us: "Cocaine is all you need!"
And then it was saturday and time for me to leave the city. I did, and after paying a lot of money because my bag was too heavy I flew away to the Emerald Isle, wich really was very green.
The first thing that met me as I descended the stairs from the plane to the runway was the smell of manure.
I got on a bus and then another bus and I found my way to my b&b, where I watched tv for a couple of hours. Then I got out to find something to eat, wich resulted in horrible and very expensive lamb tikka masala. And now I am here, at an internetcafe in Cork, a stranger in a strange place.
And now I'm leaving, perhaps for a beer, perhaps for some sleep.
