So you might have noticed the new title... I realized that I don't feel like a stranger any more. Most of the people I got to know when I came here are gone, and most of the people who came here after me are gone too, and I don't feel like a newcomer at all anymore. I know the streets by name, I know obsure little restaurants and shops, they know me by name in some of them...
And through all that has happened to me I feel different, stronger than before. Hence the change of one little letter. A subtle yet very important difference.
I am still stranger than many others though, in their eyes. "You are so strange" is something I hear every day.
And I feel that it's pretty important to remember to try to keep my attitude a bit positive at the moment, since everything feels a bit heavier, for some reason.
As most people might know the word "blog" comes from "web-logg", a way for internet nerds to tell other internet nerds what they're up to on the web. In that great tradition I thought I would share some interesting stuff with you!
This wonderful picture blog has captivated my interest most of the morning. And now I want to see Asia in general, and Thailand in particular, even more than before.
This absurd recipe doesn't really sound strange at all once you read it through... Actually, it sounds very nice... The bacon trend on the internet right now is really flourishing. Also, as a lover of ice cream above all other sweet things, I want, no need an ice cream machine, now! Please please please! Doesn't go too well with the lchf-lifestyle though. Or... Frozen yoghurt should work. But it's not really the same...
As so many other's I've gotten stuck on "Heja Abbe", a Swedish blog about a little boy born with a heart problem, written by his devoted and loving father. Very close to tears a number of times, as I follow Abbe's first couple of years through operations, medicines, hospitals, specialists and pain but also trips to the beach and the joys of family life at it's best.
Now I'ts lunchtime! Leftover's from last nights Peking Duck (one of my lchf-exeptions... only three times a week isn't a very creative idea).

my sister
My littlest sister Kajsa just learned to walk. I hate it that I'm missing so much of her early life, I really would have wanted to see her growing up... Ylva too, Emilias daughter.
I miss all my brothers and sisters. A lot.

Baby tour of '08
First of all I'd like to tell you a story. I have this friend - someone who means a lot to me - who sometimes teases me for a small tick I have. I thought it was something that came after the accident since it's in the same place in my face that still hurts.

But last night I met another friend, someone I have'nt met in four years or so, who said "You've changed, but you still have that tick in your face".
No one else have ever commented it. I did'nt even know about it untill a couple of months ago.
So, meeting Martin was great. Felt like old times almost, exept that where we used to talk about the revolution and society we now talked about computers and society.
Soon I'm going up to the office to make a lot of phone calls but first, here's a couple of baby pics.
The bluest eyes in Enköping perhaps? Ylva is a sweet and funny and happy kid. I adore her.
And this little redhead miracle is my baby sister Kajsa. Unfortunately most of the pics of her are a bit out of focus, maybe because she was moving around so much?

About a girl
Tonight one of my best and oldest friends had a baby. A girl who is going to be called Ylva. It's totally unbelievable.
In other news; I'm working my first saturday. Sixteen minutes has passed of the four hours I'm destined to spend here, in the almost-company of five or six others, one from every team. I'm restless, the sun is shining outside. I didn't get enough sleep at all but I feel filled with energy and I'm looking forward to getting out of here. Normally I don't really think about it.
Yesterday I played World of Warcraft at Dave's. For the first time in over a year. It was fun. Tonight I will watch Grey's Anatomy with Sara and Hannah. My Grey's abstinence has passed, so I'm looking forward to another few days of talking to people about the weird choices George do and how annoying Izzy can be even though people aren't really interested at all.
Oh my god. It's a girl. A million congratulations Emilia and Måsen!!! I'm thinking of you guys all the time! Send me pictures!
I can't believe that the small, blonde, freaky girl with the pink skirt I met the first day of school in seventh grade is actually a mother.

It's a new day, it's a new dawn, it's a new life for me
I am reborn every morning from the warm, safe womb of my bed. Cast out into a cold world, illuminated by unforgiving, bright electrical light. I shivering make my way to the bathroom, I brush my teeth, wash my face, get dressed, eat breakfast. Then I go to work where I get coffee from the canteen. I log on to the computer and start the many slow programs that I need to do my job. Then I do my job, or at least I try, at some point I eat lunch, then I go home, or I meet some friends, and mostly eat before becoming a zombie at around nine.
And every night I place my stiffening corpse in the cold and unwelcoming grave of my bed. I sleep, than it begins again.
Yes, my life is filled with excitement.
I'm gaining weight but my skin is recovering.
Today I'm mostly thinking about Emilia. She is giving birth. Right now probably. It's a really big thing. It means a lot.
I'm thinking about a whole lot more as well.
