cookies!
Yes, I love cookies. Especially Swedish christmas-cookies; ginger snaps. And I do collect unusual cookiecutters. So thank you mom for the cookiecutters!!! Perfect!
Also I'm hoping that the christmas presents I've ordered from the internet actually gets here before christmas...
Just saw the last episode of season three of Heroes! And... WOW! (Also POW and WOOSH and lot's of stuff like that.)
We had a really big, long, weekend breakfast today, and it's great having my mom here, and the house is so christmassy and nice... Think I'm gonna eat some cookies now.

food
I like food, I write about food. I started another blog. I call it "Feed". If you like it, or dislike it, or hate the colours, or like the colours, or whatever, tell me.
I basically loath bloggers, deep down inside. There are way to many food blogs, fashion blogs, movie blogs and so on. But I can't help myself. I like writing and I see no sense in writing stuff in Open Office Writer and saving it in my PC for no one but myself to see.
So enjoy. Or ignore. Whichever suits you.

hark now
Oh how fun! Some Swedish crap!
Farväl 2008!
11. Bästa köpet?
12. Vad spenderade du mest pengar på?
13. Gjorde någonting dig riktigt glad?
14. Vilka låtar kommer alltid påminna dig om 2008?
Boys of Summer, José Gonzales - Teardrop, Natasja - Calabria, Cocteau Twins - Ivo, Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence, The Be Good Tanyas - Scattered Leaves, Mr Vegas - Tek We Yuself och Raging Bull, KROPP - Vad ska du ha på dig ikväll och Vill att du ska och sist men inte minst Vengaboys - We like to party.
19. Blev du kär i år?
Två gånger.
20. Hur många one night stands?
OMG noll!
Kanske. Men jag är jävligt försiktig med hat.
23. Bästa boken du läste i år?
Fail!
24. Största musikaliska upptäckten?
Cockteau Twins kanske? The Be Good Tanyas? Dr. John?
25. Något du önskade dig och fick?
MASSOR kanske framför allt min dator.
26. Något du önskade dig men inte fick?
Ja.
27. Årets bästa film?
The Fall.
28. Vad gjorde du på din födelsedag 2008?
Blev firad av massor med underbara människor! Grillade och åt pannkakstårta! TOTAL GLÄDJE.
33. Vem saknade du?
Hannah O, Ginger, Emilia, mina syskon, Tom, Robin, mina föräldrar, Irena, Efva, -----...
35. Betyg för 2008?
Glöm allt du tror på.
Hail Eris, All Hail Discordia.

rum and ginger ale
Instead of shopping. Got absolutely nothing done yesterday, exept from the dishes, and I had quite a lot of rum in the evening at Björn and Viola's place, with Emil, Egon, Hannah and Eoghan. (Eoghan is not from Rohan, as you might think. He's a local boy and his name is pronounced Owen.)
It was a very nice night. Actually the day wasn't so bad either, in retrospect. Relaxing. Now I'm having some breakfast and then I'm cleaning up a bit and then I'm going over to Viola's again to have some christmas coziness with her and Hannah. Risgrynsgröt which is the Swedish equivalence of rice pudding and stuff like that.

sunshine and coffee
Just woke up after thirteen hours of sleep. Thirteen well needed hours. And some strange dreams, bordering on nightmares. Now I'm listening to jazz, drinking coffee, and trying to figure some things out. I have tried for some time now but I'm getting nowhere, basically because I'm not very good at controlling my emotions.
Well. I think I wont get out of this labyrinth for a while.
Now I'm going to watch Heroes (maybe the series with the most good looking guys in it ever) and then do some cleaning up, and then the christmas shopping of doom. And maybe I'll pop by Viola's with Mr. Pink.
Listening to: Mood Indigo - Nina Simone (From a compilation of 24 versions of the same song. Her version is probably the best. Ella Fitzgerald does a good one, but Nina has more go.)

no, this is madness
Been very stuck on this flashgame the last couple of days. It drives me nuts. I get to question 92, where I always die.
Apart from that training is going well I guess, I took my first call yesterday, or, well, made my first call actually. It was no biggie though, only a password reset. But still.
Last night me and Ida where out with a couple of guys from the Swedish headquarters of our department. Great fun. Quite tired today.
Today we had Luciafika and Helen's sister had made us the best cake ever (DELICIOUS CAKE) and we had lussekatter and glögg and pepparkakor.
And after work I went down the pub for one. And then went home. Incredible!
And now it's ten and there is not a chance that I will be able to stay awake much longer. Slept for four hours or so last night and I've got a lot of christmas shopping to do tomorrow! Watched the first two episodes of season three of Heroes and had a snack box from Hillbilly's and now I'm almost dislocating my jaw from yawning so keep all yours fingers crossed that the weather tomorrow will be splendid!
Good night!

put your hands up
Not writing does not mean I have nothing to write. It only means I would just write the wrong things.
This last week I watched the whole first season of Heroes, and a couple of episodes from season two. Great stuff. Exept for the total fail when one character comes to Cork. Filmed in Limerick. Hmpf. Totally wrong accents and everything. And it's really annoying that they always have to throw in a bit of romantic props that look "Irish", like a crook wearing a baker boy cap and stuff like that. People here don't look at all like they do in american minds. Surprise surprise.
The christmas party was super fun.
It's really hard to write when I don't want to tell what my fingers wants to write.
Can't let go.

spaz
So yeah I appreciate a compliment as much as the next guy but after ten or twenty times "your tits are so great" gets a bit boring. Or actually annoying.
But apart from that sunday night was great. Me and Ida went for a beer before we went to the movies but we never made it to the movies. Sunday day was equally good with Heroes and knitting all day.
Saturday was gingerbread mayhem! All day! And now Maria is gone and I miss her but I started my training today and it's interesting to sit over there, several metres away, and listen to Hannah's calls.
Also; if you live in Cork, or visit Cork, ever - go to The Berries and have their Hotpot. Best chilli ever. Really.
