water

I'ts raining. It's pouring down like there's no tomorrow. The summer was bad, but all autumn and "winter" has been nice... A bit cold at times but that's ok with me. But now, finally, the real Irish rain has started. You can hardly look out the window without getting soaked.

skyfall

It rained today. My new boots proved to be just as reliable as fishnets when it comes to keeping my toes dry.

It rained a lot.

I baked this cake to take to work tomorrow, for cakeday. I added real rum instead of essence though, and orange. I have high hopes.

sky falling

Just watched Dobermann, it was awesome, but no surprise there. A bit on the violent side. (I had forgotten the part where they put a grenade inside this guy's helmet... while he is wearing it.) Well, still kinda love it. I think I liked it more when I was a young punk but still, awesome.

Today has been... good. And bad. As most days I guess. This morning I could not beleive it was just tuesday. And after work I had the same feeling. Good thing I'm off friday.

Yesterday I talked to my grandparents. It was really nice, I miss them. Today I was supposed to do a lot of stuff but I was tired and lazy so I just went to Tesco, and then home and made myself some food with both meat and mushrooms for once. And lots of spices. It was good.

The sky has opened up and is showering Cork as if trying to wash away it's sins. Might take a while.

I'm falling and falling and falling faster and harder and I feel like Alice, I just keep falling down that hole. It feels like... like that feeling when you're just about to fall asleep, and you're still a bit awake, and a half-dream creeps up on you and all of a sudden your body looses touch with what is up and down and it feels like slipping, you or reality or both, only instead of opening my eyes and realizing that I'm still in my bed I keep falling, all the time. I just know exactly when I'm going to reach the bottom, it's gonna hurt as hell. It's pretty soon. Too soon.

Enough Year Zero and bullshit about emotions. Nothing is going to change. Does'nt matter how hard I want it to.

Strange land

Ireland. ”Summer”. Tricked. The sun was shining down on me so hard for a couple of weeks. Now; monsoon. Thanks a lot.

I'm feeling... Not great. I won't get my contacts, so I'll have to order them to my mom and ask her to mail them to me. Whatever, it probably wont take any more time than to order them here.

That kind of suits my mood though. What I want I can't have. It makes me sad. And generally a bit... moody. So if I'm not in a good mood, it's because of that. I'm not spoilt (not much anyways) but I just never get what I want. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Whatever it is, it just... doesn't work.

Summertime

Today I had a nice date, in the Irish rain. I like sitting outside when it's raining. As long as there's a roof. And there was. So it was nice. I also found out that a million bands I love will be playing here this summer and I will most likely miss them all since the tickets are already sold out. BRMC played tonight but that's alright. But Buena Vista Social Club, Massive Attack and Lou Reed are some names I would gladly ad to the list though. (Jay Z does not really feel important though.)

Apart from that, I feel that I'm kinda growing as a person, which I don't like. So no more cheese-based food for me for a while. More veggies. (That's easy... anything is more than nothing.)

So no real news about the dude in the UK. I think about him a lot. He would probably say that I think to much. Let me tell you something about myself. I really do think to much. But anyone who think's they've figured out what I think about is damn wrong.

Time to sleep. I also want to mention that my friends rock. They see if I'm in a bad mood immediately. I feel safe but not trapped, which might be a first.

Days fly by...

A few days without hot water or heating in the house has passed, and we can once again remain indoors without wearing jackets. It was very frustrating. Especially at night.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape at Tesco (but the french say it's a bad year). The beggars on the bridges (some change, please). Bureaucracy (bureaucrazy). Money. Rain.

Two birds passed over my head the other day. A crane, I think, and a crow.

I dream a lot but I don't remember anything.
